Is DSIP FDA-approved?
No. DSIP is a research-only compound, is not FDA-approved for human use, is not on the 503A bulks list, and does not appear in any of FDA's interim Category 1, 2, or 3 lists — so there is no lawful compounding route. On July 24, 2026 an FDA advisory committee (PCAC) voted **against** recommending DSIP (as Emideltide) for the 503A bulks list — the only rejection of a meeting at which the committee recommended six other peptides, and the only one where the committee agreed with FDA's own reviewers. The uses FDA evaluated were opioid withdrawal, chronic insomnia, and narcolepsy. DSIP is available only through research chemical suppliers and not in pharmaceutical-grade formulations in the US.
